GENERAL INFORMATION
MT
This course is NOT SUITABLE FOR BEGINNERS. It involves
very fast and steep fire road,
single-track, jumps, rock gardens and berms. Riders for the Mt Stanley
Shuttle
day must be at least
strong intermediate
to advanced downhillers. The Mt Stanley Downhill Mountain Bike
Trail has the reputation of being
one of the biggest DH courses in
and length of Thredbo’s infamous Cannonball Run and the Big Hill
at Mt Beauty. For the Mt Stanley Shuttle Day the pick up point means
you get
around 5km of riding downhill over a vertical drop
of close to 700 metres.
There’s fast fire trail, sweet singletrack, an insane rock garden and
some cool
jumps to boot.
COST - $50 for
the days shuttling which includes lunch and drinks. You must be a
member of Mountain Bike Australia for insurance purposes or you can
take out a social day license for $5
(compulsory if you are not a valid member of MTBA).

WHAT DO I
NEED TO BRING? - Riders
must be
fully self-sufficient. We're putting on a fun day of riding with lunch
catered
for, but we're not there to babysit you! Bring along spare tubes, tools
and
anything else that you're likely to need on the track. Don't rely on
other
people to bring stuff along. FULL FACE
HELMETS ARE COMPULSORY and the use of body armour and
gloves are strongly recommended.
CAN I
REGISTER ON THE DAY? – No.
There are
limited positions available.

Step 2. You will receive an
email from Finish Line
Events confirming that there are still positions available.
Step 3. Once you receive this
email payment must
be made within 4 days if no payment is received your position will be
put back
up for grabs.
Step 4. Once we receive your
payment you will be
sent a confirmation email telling you your confirmation number as this
is a
limited ride day event and entries will NOT be taken on the day.
